A seven-week course aimed at training your dog the fundamentals of obedience, to help him or her become a pleasant member of your family. We use our positive approach to help you teach your dog the basic behaviors: sit and down, stay, come, and walk calmly on leash. We also address common behavioral issues such as jumping on people. All-Around Dog

Prerequisites: Completion of a basic good manners class. Dog must walk nicely on leash & get along well with other dogs. Dog must have a solid sit & down on cue.
What we'll work on will include some or all of the following: Rally, loose lead walking/heel work, Really Reliable Recall, off lead work, Meets & Greets with a twist, solid stays, desensitization skills (counterconditioning, "Look at That" game), distractions, distractions!... It will depend on the dogs, depend on the handlers - what you want and what your dog is ready for, and what we can fit into six weeks.

Agility - Obstacle Confidence

Team Run Agility - Handling for Advanced Competition

Competition Agility
Class starts Thu, April 3, 2008 at 5:30 PM
- 12 weeks
For dogs with at least two legs in AKC Novice or equivalent, or with instructor approval. Sequences from open level and above are worked on. Course strategies are discussed. (click here for more info)
